Reliability of Wikipedia

Before reading NPR's article and Wired's article about the questionable reliability of Wikipedia, I was well-aware of the problem. I find it interesting that there is a way to trace what companies/groups/political parties are editing the pages on Wikipedia and it is a good thing, too! As for whether or not Wikipedia can be a trusted site for information, I say yes. Wikipedia can be a reliable starting point for getting basic information and more research should be conducted from there. It's just important for people using Wikipedia to understand that it can be edited freely by anyone and everyone.
